Team Communication

Schneider Structural Engineering (SSE) is committed to the Team Concept on all projects. It is critical for the Client’s staff and ours to work as one team to identify and implement the project goals.

The keys to success onprojects requires frequent and open communications between all team members. Up-front partnering sessions are conducted to ensure that all the needs for the project are identified and most importantly to build strong team relationships.

These sessions will ensure that good communication lines are established and that the Client will receive what they desire. We are dedicated to open, real-time communication throughout the project to keep you informed on all issues.

Day-to-day communication and coordination with your staff using a specific Project Team communication process is utilized and outlined below:
  • ALL VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOUR STAFF AND OURS FLOWS THROUGH THE PROJECT MANAGER
  • RECORDS OF PHONE CONVERSATIONS,MEETINGS, AND WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION ARE DISTRIBUTED TO ALL TEAM MEMBERS.FREQUENT TEAM MEETINGS WITH PRE- PLANNED AGENDAS ARE CONDUCTED. MEETING MINUTES ARE DISTRIBUTED TO ALL MEMBERS.ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE MEETINGS ARE SUMMARIZED IN SPECIFIC ACTION STEPS INDICATING THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY AND SCHEDULE FOR COMPLETION.
  • MONITORING AND COMMUNICATION OF COST ISSUES WILL ENSURE THE MAXIMUM IMPACT OF EVERY BUDGET

We have utilized this process for years and it works very well in pulling engineering, maintenance, and production departments of our clients along with project designers and construction personnel together to achieve the final project objective.
